In addition to its historical heritage, cultural and touristic importance, the western city of Lviv has been showing steady growth in the past few years, becoming one of the major tech hubs in the country alongside Kyiv and Kharkiv.

LVIV IT CLUSTER: DRIVING CHANGE THROUGH COMMUNITY

In 2011, a community of the leading tech companies, municipal authorities, and educational institutions formed the Lviv IT Cluster with an aim to improve the local economy and provide a sustainable income for the city. The initiative was set up within the Lviv Competitiveness Strategy, and since its launch, continues to implement large-scale projects that contribute to positioning Lviv as one of the attractive tech hubs, both in Ukraine and in the CEE. Lviv IT Cluster unites over 180 member companies, 25,000 tech professionals, and implements projects in such areas as promotion, education, development of international relations, and infrastructure.
