Challenge 

The priority task of Emil Frey Group was to digitize the processes and develop a complete platform to make their daily work/process much smoother. Such platforms need to be developed in a micro services architecture allowing all components inter-communicating between them.

Approach

SSI has assembled a strong development team to meet the initial needs of Emil Frey Group, including development of:

  • Service Portal: an application to manage resources for each garage, allowing to plan the work according to the available mechanics, spare parts available to maximize the work vs. load or repair/services to be done to customer’s cars.
  • Customer Portal: an application for Emil Frey to manage their customers once registered. All information regarding customers' cars is managed through this application, scheduling periodic services, requesting a repair, advertising new products/cars, planning maintenance, and many more.
  • Vehicle 360: an application to allow customers/sales managers to take pictures of their car in a 360° (outside and inside the car) to be displayed on the web sites (used cars website as well as garage website) to show how the car to be sold looks like. Kind of VR application for potential customers.
