A software that automatically tracks employees sign-in/out on remote locations. The application is integrated with systems such as RFID/3g/LoRa to create an automatic sign-in/sign-out as well as headcount during emergency musters. The readers scan the card, send the information back to a tablet, and the tablet stores the information for a time and send it to the cloud.
The main challenge was to support offline mode. Remote locations are different from an office environment where everything can just be simply connected over Wi-Fi and you're good to go. There were large outdoor distances between readers, mobile equipment, metallic objects, weather, and in some instances, high-hazard atmospheres all to contend with.
We’ve built a Sign In/Out system that accurately captures employees working time in remote locations. Administrators could configure personnel and jobs and monitor users’ activity using powerful live reports. The system could possibly work in offline mode and push data to the cloud as soon as there is an internet connection.
