The history of UTECH started in the USA in 2015 with an ingenious idea of creating simple and at the same time multifunctional products which could help logistic businesses organize their operating activity. This way the first project UNIQ TMS emerged with the aim of helping small and medium scale businesses to refine their logistic processes.
However, in 2016 in the USA there was a huge coup regarding logistics and the laws of transportation as the government made all long-distance drivers who carry freight use, special trackers.
UTECH immediately changed its focus and created GPSTab - an electronic solution that helps truck drivers and commercial drivers easily keep track of HOS.
Back then it was a challenge for us, but we had a clear aim to make our product user-friendly and simultaneously follow all the rules of FMCSA.
Since 13 July 2017, we have been officially coworking with FMCSA and in August our first devices were sold.
As the sales were increasing dramatically and the aspiration to provide an easy-to-use solution became more obvious, it was decided that UTECH had to open new offices.
24 August 2017 UTECH offices were opened in Lviv and Ternopil. The goal was to involve UTECH in a fast-growing pool of accomplished developers in Ukraine. It enabled the company to get an advantage among the competitors, continue growing and develop its products.
The selling of GPSTab went on increasing: 6000 devices were sold out in 2018, 13000 devices were sold in 2019 and 27000 were sold at the end of 2020.
2 February 2021 the company decided to focus its development on the product UNIQ TMS. 16 February 2021 mobile applications came out for UNIQ TMS and as a result, we received positive feedback from our customers. Currently, UTECH comprises 8 different departments, 100+ team players who provide a wide range of services for our clients such as marketing, selling, development, and support 24/7.
These days UTECH is rapidly developing and is planning to win international market developing products in other areas and facilitating the lives of the future customers. Today UTECH has offices in Los Angeles, Chicago, Ternopil, and Lviv and persists in expanding.
